DocuPocket

This Privacy Policy explains how DocuPocket ("we", "us", or "the app") handles information when you use our mobile application. We built DocuPocket to be simple and privacy-respecting: your documents belong to you.

In short: Your documents are stored on your device. We don't require an account, and we don't sell your data. Anything we collect exists only to keep the app running and improve it.

1. Information We Collect

We aim to collect as little as possible. Depending on how you use the app, this may include:

• Content you create. Scanned documents, imported photos, and PDFs are stored locally on your device. We do not upload or read your document content.
• Usage & diagnostic data. We may collect anonymized information about crashes, performance, and how features are used, to help us fix issues and improve the app.
• Purchase information. If you buy an optional premium feature, the transaction is handled by the applicable app-store provider. We receive confirmation of the purchase but never your full payment details.

2. How We Use Information

We use the limited information we collect to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the app;
• Diagnose technical problems and prevent abuse;
• Provide customer support when you contact us;
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Storage

Your documents are stored on your device. If you enable device backups, your content may be included in those backups according to your platform provider's terms and your device settings. We do not maintain our own copy of your documents.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data only with service providers who help us operate the app, such as analytics, crash-reporting, or purchase services, and only to the extent necessary for those services. We may also disclose information if required by law.

5. Third-Party Services

The app may rely on third-party services such as Apple's App Store, Google Play, analytics providers, crash-reporting providers, or purchase services. These services have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.

6. Your Choices

• You can delete any document directly within the app at any time.
• You can uninstall the app to remove locally stored data from your device.
• You can adjust diagnostic, analytics, permission, and backup settings through your device's system settings where applicable.

7. Children's Privacy

DocuPocket is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
